The IOC Advanced Team Physician Course returns to Norway in 2012! The 4th edition, organized by the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center and Olympiatoppen, will take place in Oslo May 30th through June 1st and features a stellar line-up of 25 excellent speakers committed to ensure that this 3-day event will be the three previous editions. And a great chance to visit Europe in the summer!

For detailed information on the course, click here. (The registration form can be accessed at that link).

Please note that registration is on a first come, first served basis. No more than 80 delegates will be accepted, to maximize the opportunity for sharing new knowledge with faculty and experienced colleagues and challenge each other in open discussions. This includes the social program, which will give you a network of colleagues from around the world.

The first IOC Advanced Team Physician Course was organized in Svolvær, Lofoten in 2008, and then at Stanford University in 2009 and in Calvi, Corsica in 2011. These courses are geared towards the practical issues of working with high-level athletes in a team sports setting.

At this special course we will address controversial topics and present new evidence on diagnosis and treatment. We will challenge existing dogma. Upon arrival in Oslo, delegates will receive cases illustrating specific scenarios, which we will address through small-group discussions, plenary lectures and expert panels.

Welcome to Oslo! [Here is the registration link]
