Don’t Forget the Bubbles – new paediatric website

Today saw the launch of Don’t Forget the Bubbles, a new paediatric website.  The aim of DFTB is to get more people involved in delivering high quality online education – it’s a collaborative, free, open access (FOAM) resource.

The taster content available already gives you an idea of what’s to come.  There are useful quick references pages, like on recognising genetic syndromes, finding blood pressure centiles, or info about exclusion periods for infectious diseases.  Other sections include: topic summaries; recognising rashes; radiology cases; and journal article summaries.

For the launch this month, DFTB is releasing one new post every day – you’ll see the content expanding and new sections appearing.

Check it out at dontforgetthebubbles.com or follow the DFTB facebook page for updates too.

And get involved – if you’d like to contribute in some way then let the DFTB team know.  Whether it’s reviewing posts; writing posts; or contributing a teaching you’ve already written – the idea is to make the site inclusive and diverse, so join in!
