Unusual Injuries: An iliac bone stress fracture in a basketball player

A basketball player complains of pain in the right iliac region at the end of the basketball season. Clinical examination and Xray confirms a stress fracture. The literature suggests that 6% of stress fractures occur in the pelvis.
