Thank you for coming- I
\nHave a crime to report!
\nOnly yesterday I was sitting here as I do since I first rolled down
\nThe days merge with the seasons,
\nBut I recall it was cold and the water had frozen.
\nThere was a \u201ccrack\u201d.
\nAnd a piece of me was gone!<\/p>\n

Just like that,
\nOne moment part of me, the next
\nNo longer there.
\nI mean, I can see it.
\nBut it\u2019s sitting, dead.
\nSeparate to me.<\/p>\n

What do you mean, weathering?!
\nTime, you say,
\nNay!
\nSay I- it was a person.
\nI missed who, I don\u2019t have a description
\nBut someone must be to blame.<\/p>\n

Slowly the officer walked away.
\nThe rock sat,
\nAnd pondered.
\nA little less than it was.<\/p>\n

Note by the author: we all want a narrative in life and illness doesn\u2019t escape this. A wise clinician works with the narrative if they can.<\/p>\n
