Completed my will today,
\nSaid good bye
\nTo the cat
\nAnd cancelled the milk.<\/p>\n

Need to call my solicitor later
\nAnd the vicar,
\nI\u2019m not religious
\nBut the family has always
\nLiked the village church.<\/p>\n

Must remember to pop to the bank
\nGoing to ring the boss last
\nNot looking forward to that one.
\nSuch a nice bloke,
\nlike family really.<\/p>\n

Finally spoke to the boss,
\nTold him they said I was palliative,
\nYesterday.
\nThat\u2019s good he said.
\n-Quite took me back.<\/p>\n

No, no-don\u2019t worry,
\nYou\u2019re still seeing the other fella, right?
\nPalliative just means you\u2019re
\nGetting more support
\n-come on mate, he said,
\nWe knew you weren\u2019t getting better from this.<\/p>\n

Now you\u2019ll have a bit more help.<\/p>\n

Made me feel better, hearing that.
\nGot to go to the bank tomorrow.
\nAnd un-cancel the milk.
\nDon\u2019t think the cat listened first time.<\/p>\n

It turns out being palliative today
\nIs no different to not being palliative
\nYesterday.
\nOh-must remember to update the vicar.<\/p>\n
