{"id":1609,"date":"2012-03-05T11:38:57","date_gmt":"2012-03-05T10:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/medical-ethics\/?p=1609"},"modified":"2012-03-08T12:37:44","modified_gmt":"2012-03-08T11:37:44","slug":"some-responses-to-giubilini-and-minerva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/medical-ethics\/2012\/03\/05\/some-responses-to-giubilini-and-minerva\/","title":{"rendered":"Some Responses to Giubilini and Minerva"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I did mention last week that I&#8217;d post links to sites that mentioned Giubilini and Minerva&#8217;s paper as they crossed my radar; but it turned out very quickly that there&#8217;d be no way to keep up. \u00a0And, to be frank, a lot of the blogosphere&#8217;s response has been fairly scattergun outrage rather than dispassionate engagement with the paper, and directed at Giubilini and Minerva themselves rather than at the argument they put forward. \u00a0There&#8217;s been much more heat than light.<\/p>\n<p>This is perhaps unsurprising, as considered responses are almost certainly going to take a while to materialise. \u00a0However, they have begun to appear. \u00a0Here&#8217;s the first that I&#8217;ve spotted; I&#8217;ll post links to more in this thread as and when. \u00a0And if any readers have responses on academia.edu or SSRN that they&#8217;d like mentioning, or if anyone spots anything of interest, do let me know.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Charles C.
