Its clinical manifestations and complications are well elaborated while the pathogenesis is obscure. In the current study, the authors took advantage of recently published genome-wide association study and proceeded replication for the gene Yeast Associated Protein 1 (YAP1) &#8211; an important transcriptional co-activator. Finally, they proved YAP1 is a novel susceptibility gene for PCOS.
