Swedish graduate students have invented an airbag that deploys from a collar to protect the head. The system was designed to meet the demand of bicyclists who object to\u00a0helmets\u00a0because they are unstylish or interfere with hair style.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d7Oud3iGXWY\">Hovding Crash Test Video<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is activated, apparently, by accelerometers in the yoke collar.
