What is your main area of research \/ clinical expertise?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Injury and illness prevention, athlete health, rugby research, mass community-based endurance sports events.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What is your motivation to be a member of the BOSEM team?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

BOSEM produces a substantial amount of research each year, yet it is still relatively unknown. My motivation was to improve visibility and to up the standard of work published in each issue.<\/p>\n

What<\/strong> i<\/strong>s a work-related accomplishment that you\u2019re really proud of?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Being involved in the current IOC consensus statement on Acute Respiratory Illness in Athletes is a real highlight of my work career so far.<\/p>\n

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

My father has been a constant influence on my work. He is an accomplished academic who has illustrated an unmatched work ethic throughout my life and taught me a lot about the academic world from day 1.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?<\/strong><\/h5>\n
