I am Professor at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. I am a physical therapist with a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, and I love to play volleyball.<\/p>\n

What is your main area of research \/ clinical expertise?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

My main areas of research are clinical biomechanics and, more recently, Paralympic sports.<\/p>\n

What is your motivation to be a member of the BOSEM team?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The opportunity to learn with researchers who inspire me and hopefully contribute to BOSEM to reach the next step.<\/p>\n

What<\/strong> i<\/strong>s a work-related accomplishment that you\u2019re really proud of?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Becoming the head of the Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Program at UFMG so early in my professional career.<\/p>\n

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Professor S\u00e9rgio Fonseca, who was my PhD supervisor and now is a friend and a colleague at my Department.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?<\/strong><\/h5>\n
