In acknowledgement of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/world-heart-federation.org\/world-heart-day\/get-involved\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">World Heart Day 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, we highlight some of our recent papers that consider patients\u2019 voices via qualitative studies within the broad topic area of cardiovascular health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The research questions and study settings are diverse, ranging from priorities and perceptions of family caregivers on the hospice care of individuals with end-stage heart failure in China (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/9\/e103569\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chen 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) and socioenvironmental determinants of nutrition and physical activity for individuals at risk of coronary artery disease in Iran (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/6\/e090314\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ezati 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) to co-morbidity management of patients with atrial fibrillation in Europe (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/6\/e094839\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lee 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) and access to mental health services for people living with heart failure in Canada (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/5\/e098866\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shah 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A qualitative study from Brazil asked patients living with atrial fibrillation how they cope with the need for lifelong use of medication (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/6\/e088226\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paschoal 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) while a study team in Thailand asked people with atrial fibrillation about their experiences of an educational intervention for the management of their warfarin therapy (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/3\/e096490\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jiraporncharoen 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are plenty of other studies exploring patients\u2019 experiences and perceptions, for example, the impact of abnormal ambulatory ECG findings in the Netherlands (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/7\/e102160\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brik 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">), shared decision making in the UK (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/6\/e099090\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hoffmann 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) and multidisciplinary outpatient clinics for heart failure in Qatar (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bmjopen.bmj.com\/content\/15\/9\/e098614\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hajaj 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight:
