\n<\/b>Association between leisure sedentary behaviour and uterine fibroids in non-menopausal women: a population-based study
\n<\/b>This month\u2019s only new entry came from Sun et al.<\/i>, with their research into whether sedentary behaviour is associated with uterine fibroids in non-menopausal women. This cross-sectional study from the Y<\/span>unnan region of China included a total of 6623 non-menopausal women, of which 562 participants had uterine fibroids (diagnosed by abdominal B-ultrasound). Leisure sedentary time was ascertained via a face to face interview. Leisure sedentary time was found to be independently associated with the prevalence of uterine fibroids, and a linear dose\u2012response relationship was observed.<\/span><\/p>\n
