The department said that the information \u201crelates to the formulation or development of government policy\u201d and was therefore exempt from release.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/bmj\/files\/2015\/09\/prescribing.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-35073\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/bmj\/files\/2015\/09\/prescribing-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"prescribing\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/351\/bmj.h4559\">Elsewhere in <em>The BMJ<\/em><\/a>, Avril E Drummond and Carol Coole argue that occupational therapists and physiotherapists should be able to issue fit notes. Could this be a potential role for physician associates in the future?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/351\/bmj.h4657\">In news this week<\/a> Clare Dyer reports that consultant a cardiothoracic surgeon in Cardiff has been dismissed without notice for gross misconduct.
