The concerning findings from the parliamentary and health service ombudsman <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/350\/bmj.h2724\">are summarised here by <em>The BMJ<\/em>\u2019s correspondent Clare Dyer<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/bmj\/files\/2015\/05\/david_cameron.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-34246 \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/bmj\/files\/2015\/05\/david_cameron-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"david_cameron\" width=\"98\" height=\"98\" \/><\/a>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/350\/bmj.h2713\">The government\u2019s plans to implement seven day working in the NHS<\/a>\u2014announced this week by Prime Minister David Cameron\u2014amount to little more than \u201cempty headline grabbing,\u201d the BMA has argued.
