But if you do want a <a href=\"http:\/\/content.nejm.org\/cgi\/content\/full\/356\/6\/551\">baby, <\/a>should you take <a href=\"http:\/\/content.nejm.org\/cgi\/content\/full\/356\/6\/551\">metformin, clomifene or both<\/a>?<!--more--><strong> <\/strong>Just take some clomifene, is the message of this three-way randomised <a href=\"http:\/\/content.nejm.org\/cgi\/content\/full\/356\/6\/551\">study<\/a>, which did not include a placebo-only arm: metformin may help you ovulate, but it will not help you get a successful pregnancy, say the authors.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>For several years now, the journals (especially the New England) have been full of papers about new <a href=\"http:\/\/content.nejm.org\/cgi\/content\/full\/356\/6\/580\">monoclonal antibodies<\/a> to various bits of various inflammatory pathways.
