It could be a 'poisoned chalice ' to get access to to drugs earlier via a special license. It is normally the most vulnerable or should I say desperate individuals who will be accessing these medications. It is human nature to explore all avenues but will these people be in a position to make a rational decision surrounding the issues of taking drugs that have not been researched to the standard that members of the public would normally expect? Let's face it nobody can truthfully tell them what outcome to expect, or what side effects may arise, because they're going to find out when 'they' take it!! Then there's those not included or unable to pay. Will they think they are missing out on some 'VITAL' treatment? Next thing you'll have people raising money against their homes, borrowing cash etc all for something that that may not help them at all, or may even have exactly the opposite effect!
