		<description>Dear Dr. Smith: You have written that current or traditional medical publications (journals and textbooks) are not appropriate for the phyisician in practice and for the medical student.
Do you think an encyclopedia with millions of articles and hundreds of millions of pages will?
You have said, quote more or less, "we need concise, didactic, illustrated briefs that can be read and guide in a short time etc...
And also, do you think "patients" in developing countries or of lower cultural levels in developed ones, can "contribute"? Fist, they need access in an approprtiate language to the existing knowledge.
Your vision of MedPedia is for the upper crust of our society in developed nations.

		<description>Hope there will be some way of informing and enabling  contributions by all child/citizen scientists...they often have the most unususal takes on science and the most fascination with the world.   the BMJ used to have a space where people could text in a question and would hope for responses from whoever chose to contribute..it would be good to have that sort of space in medipeadia.</description>
