Mark Lewis revises his “to do” list

14 Feb, 08 | by Mark Lewis

Sorry it’s been a while folks, had my viva this week so I’ve been hiding in a corner with a pile of books until now!

Tuesday was my exam day and thanks to a lot of support from the people I work with I passed.  I’m glad I won’t have to do that day again, it’s pretty nerve-wracking. The candidates are all placed in the Library together then called out in small groups for each 20 minute viva. Some people come back close to tears, or with a vacant stare of pure, blind fear.  I was fortunate to have been with some colleagues from my hospital - I think if I’d been on my own I would have been a wreck too.

So now that I passed, I automatically get put through to the clinical exam in March … I guess there’s no rest for the wicked.

I also have a big pile of things I’ve been ignoring and simply writing on a list until the exam is over.  I guess the next week will be spent crossing things off of it again!  (No.12 was “Blog”, guess that one’s taken care of!)
